F-35 Lightning V2 64mm EDF Jet - (Plug-N-Play) PNP from FMS - FMM091P

Note:  This V2 has an upgraded 11-blade EDF fan unit, 2840-KV3900 motor and 40A ESC

This is a brand new updated version of the FMS F-35 as of December 2016. For starters, the F-35 wings are now screw on as opposed to glue on. The new 11-blade EDF unit produces a more realistic jet sound to maximize the thrill of piloting an RC jet.  The days of the sound of those "Flying Vacuum Cleaners" are thankfully in the past.  The entire plane is now made of strong EPO foam as opposed to the EPS foam used in prior models. The motor was upgraded to a larger 2840-3900Kv power plant and the ESC was upgraded from a 35A to a 40A. The battery bay has been expanded to accommodate a larger 3S 2200mAh LiPo battery. All these improvements make this version significantly more advanced than the prior model, so we have designated it as version 2 (V2). Landing gear is easily removable so this can be hand launched and belly landed. While the plane flies fine with the landing gear, we prefer flying without the landing gear for the most speed. While this is a 4 channel plane, the rudder channel is for steering only - there is no functional rudder. The Motion RC pilots recommend flying the plane using 5 channels - we separate the elevator into two channels so we can subtrim the elevator halves for perfect control. This vastly improved EDF is a pleasure to fly and demonstrates very stable flight behavior.

A carbon fiber wing spar greatly enhances the wing strength for enhanced flying maneuvers. An improved main wing set and landing gear installation optimizes strength of structure and reduces assembly time.

The differences in speeds between the V1 version and the V2 will be noticeable. Accessories such as missiles can be removed to create an even faster, more streamlined model.  This jet is a complete blast to fly and easy to transport.
